Learn Simple HTML and make your eBay Listings Really Stand Out From The Crowd

8 Aug

You can make your ebay listings look really good and apealling by adding pictures and frames within the listing itself and it wont cost you anything on eBay.

No need to spend a fortune on web design you can easily learn to do it yourself you can add pictures frames and other design related items to make your listing look very professional.

The best part is you don’t need to learn HTML in depth to become a web designer all you will need is a WYSIWYG editor and away you go its so simple to learn yet the results are fantastic.

Now for those of you that have been to any of my eBay workshops by now you should have all the basic attributes on listing and running you eBay shops and of course hopefully you are under way selling.

If you are interested in this advanced listing workshop then please get in touch.

Here you see some pictures and other items such as terms and paypal logos added to give it a finishing touch such as this listing.

Business Link eBay Workshop Reeds Hotel Barton Upon Humber

16 Jun

Excellent turnout for the Business Link eBay Workshop Reeds Hotel Barton Upon Humber and what a fantastic venue too it was stunning.

We had a very good set of questions firing from all angles and I hope I managed to answer them for you satisfactorily.

A quick reminder on the keywords ensure that you use strong keywords that reflect the products you sell and not fancy sentences in the shops description section.

Strong simple keywords will attract buyers silly words such as we sell bargain galore or wonderful items do not bring in traffic who will type these types of words when searching for products? NO ONE

Keep keywords for your eBay business simple and get into the habit of thinking like a customer what words will a client use to fing your products?

Once again thanks for the turnout

Business Link Yorkshire eBay workshop Bridlington spa

First off thank you all for turning up to the workshop and once again I apologize that we were unable to demonstrate live online due to the internet being down.

I suggest you book on to the. same ebay workshop event between now and November in order to get the full benefit check with Business Link for all upcoming eBay workshops.

Just to recap one or two things it’s important to remember to repeat more often than not the title within the description part of your listings or at least repeat the products main keywords several times and don’t forget to add tags to the bottom of your eBay listing’s.

Also remember to include add to favorites and news letter link’s to all listings as well as creating communication Boxes in your eBay shop an excellent way of building email marketing list for your eBay business.

If you click on tutorial link you will find a couple of eBay videos that will help you get started.

And last but not least don’t forget to use the business center which has an excellent host of information to help you start and grow your eBay business

Thank you for a fantastic turnout at the Business Link Advanced eBay Workshop which was a joint Venture with the Federation Of Small Business thank you all for the excellent feedback about the workshop.

I noticed from the delegate list that there were many types of businesses ranging from clothing to art, furniture and even one or two from the service industry whatever your product or service you can certainly use eBay to promote and get your message across a very large audience indeed.

But remember its up to you to make it happen I would suggest start smallish gather pace and grow always dipping in and out of the business center which hosts a range of excellent eBay business information to help aid your eBay business.

For your first few sales I would suggest that you list your items using eBay’s sell your item form which you can access from the sell tab at the top of the page, once your business grows you may want to consider using Turbo Lister which you can list off-line as well as in bulk you can learn more about Turbo Lister Here.

Selling manager is a great way to keep track of your business with tools such as what’s been paid what’s not what needs to be posted message centre and many other handy features that make your eBay business a breeze to keep an eye on, download the free version and use that first before graduating to the paid one more about selling manager here

Dont forget I am here to help and support you for 12 weeks please  try to ask your question about eBay here on my blog if you can just use the comments section, or if you prefer you can email me.

Making eBay Shops Work For Your Business, Great Victoria Hotel, Bridge Street, Bradford

31 Oct

Sorry for the delay in getting this blog out I just want to say thanks for a fantastic turnout for the  Business Link Yorkshire advanced eBay Trading Workshop held at the Great Victoria Hotel, Bridge Street, Bradford.

There were one or two of you that thought the handouts were a bit on the small side and if anyone would like a pdf copy let me know and I will email it to you.

Ebay basic shops are an excellent cost-effective way of starting out on your e-commerce venture and with around 250+ million registered users make eBay a hallmark for your online success.

My advice to begin is getting to grips with the control panel and list small amounts gradually begin with the basic shop and keep growing month on month rather than try to get it all done in 5 minutes Rome was not built-in a day.

Take a look at cooltext where you can design and download a logo for free then upload to you store http://cooltext.com/

And remember you can purchase and point a domain name directly to your store for that added professionalism.

I am here to help just ask if you need me.
