First off all thanks for turning up guys that you enjoyed the eBay Workshop and more importantly that it was informative and beneficial to you all.

Yesterday we discussed how to create an eBay listing that will attract buyers and hopefully sales remember that the most important factor will be your item title and when writing one think like a buyer.

eBay can and will be a good alternative or even main route to market for your business.

Remember nothing happens until you make it happen it is hard work for certain but from my experience if you do work hard at the eBay platform you will succeed.

Blue Orchid Manchester eBay workshop Houldsworth Mill Stockport 29/04/10

We are delivering the first of many eBay trading workshops on behalf of Blue Orchid Manchester starting at the Houldsworth Mill in Stockport on the 29th April 2010.

Houldsworth Mill was originally a cotton mill which closed in 1958 and has now been transformed into an award-winning business community located in a converted Grade II listed building, close to the heart of Stockport with excellent transport links to the M60 and central Manchester.

First of all thank you all so much for attending we hope you enjoyed the eBay workshop and that it was informative and motivating enough for you to get cracking on with the business of eBay.

What an excellent audience you all were very attentive with excellent relevant questions being asked about eBay and lots of important note taking the interest and desire amongst you all was very high.

And with this in mind there is nothing more satisfying than hearing from you all about how you are getting on with your eBay businesses so keep in touch here on the site leave comments and keep on asking as many eBay questions as you like we are here to support you.

Its time for you to get you heads down to some hard but exiting work building an eBay business is fun and dynamic with hard work and dedication you will succeed.

But remember there are no short cuts none and don’t let anyone tell you there are,success on eBay is just consistent persistance never giving in and with a self belief and passion about your business that is irresistable and unstoppable.

When the down and lonely moments come dont worry there is plenty off support available from myself and business link you never have to be alone.

Business Link eBay Trading Workshop At The Briar Court Hotel Huddersfield On The 22/04/2010

Hi everyone tomorrow we are at the Briar Court Hotel for Business Links eBay trading workshop with a class of 40 delegates.

We have a new presentation which is picture based rather than word based I think it’s so much better delegates will be able to relate more when they get back in front of their pc’s.

The conference facilities look nice and comfortable so should make for an excellent evening of eBay learning.

eBay Trading Workshops By Business Link Yorkshire A Resounding Success

The eBay trading workshops delivered by Business Link Yorkshire have so far been a resounding success for businesses of all natures within the Yorkshire and Humber regions.

Many of the businesses who attend are greatly benefiting by the workshops and our continued support also remember we will continue to support you until you are confident enough to grow and maintain your eBay business.

I just want to go over a bit of old ground in that the current workshops solely focus on the basics and do not go into advanced techniques infact many so called advanced techniques can be very off-putting to even a seasoned eBay seller.

I am also amazed at the high number of existing eBay sellers that are missing so many of the simple listing rules that are a major factor to their success on eBay.

If you dont apply the basics to your listings you are not ready to move on indeed no matter how many advanced techniques you apply to your eBay business you will get nowhere fast unless you plug the gaps.

Some of the basics you need to remember are:

• Completed listing research (See whats sells and what doesn’t so many sellers dont even know how to do this its so valuable)
• Writing effective titles (No spelling errors and think like a customer when writing it)
• Fill in item specifics (Dont skimp on this)
• Repeat title in description body
• Take quality pictures (No flash, use macro for close-ups, Tripods, and edit by rotating cropping and re-sizing)
• Use auction format to drive customers to your other listings
• And dont forget the hit counter
• Last but not least dont take the basics for granted these are the most important.
