    Hi John,

Attended your course in Scunthorpe a few weeks ago and me and my wife found it very inspiring. Our shop Sugar and Spice is now open on Ebay. Sales are very slow at moment but working on marketing and getting our name out there. Selling Jewellery at moment but just had delivery of some gorgeous homeware gifts and starting to get them uploaded. Take a look at our shop, give us some feedback and send us some tips on how to get your name known in the market place

Take care, and thanks again for a great teaching session

Hi Tim OK I have had a look you are using words in the title that are not searchable this may probably be the reason such wording as I made a wish or LOL Gorgeous etc are not words that anybody looking for a wall or door plaque will generally type just stick to product words here is an example
Oak Wooden House,Door,Name,Number,Gate,Wall,Plaque,Sign this is very strong think in terms of the customer what will they type when searching a product my guess is just the item itself.

Of course you can the add all the niceties in the description section the title is just products

Say I am looking for a wooden numbered or worded wall plaque these are the words I am going to use so once again here is that title try it see how you get on.

        Oak Wooden House,Door,Name,Number,Gate,Wall,Plaque,Sign

        Regards

    Hi,

I came to two of your Workshops at Tickton Grange the last one on 10/11/2011,and you said if we needed any help for the next three months you would give advice. I would like to ask you how, when you are doing your description of your item, do you get another design theme other than the ones on Ebay as I find them a little dull. When exploring Ebay I have found that people have really nice borders around their adverts and I really do not know how to achieve the same effect.
If you could help me with this I would be truly grateful.
    Many thanks.

Hi Angela what you are seeing with other ebayers who have good looking templates is the ability to use HTML editors and a little bit of HTML knowledge to create and generate exceptional looking pictures and borders within you listings.

This will really need a day to set up for you which will include downloading HTML editors and host sites for pictures it cannot be coached back and forth VIA email.

Please contact me direct by email or better still by phone for a full explanation.

      Regards

      John
