Selling for others on eBay

26 Sep

Trading_Assistant_Logo-GIFThis week I negotiated a deal to sell an antique solid oak table and chairs on behalf of a new client for the agreed commission rate of 50%.

Taking into consideration eBay and Paypal fees and with my powerseller discount the fees will be approximately 10% leaving me with a 40% net profit.

And this is repeated for all my customers my rates vary between 35%-50% depending on client and volume.

The beauty of this system is you dont have to carry stock nor lay out  any money for it, it’s a great deal for both parties the customer gets a bigger audience for his products and your risks and pretty much zero you could say its free stock for your business.

All you would need to do is go round to your clients premisses take the photos write a description list and sell, deduct your dues arrange shipment and pass on the balance to the client.

bbcNow here’s a really good way to earn money without spending a penny on stock Become a trading assistant with eBay’s trading assistant program.

Joining the Trading Assistants Directory

  • You have a feedback score of 50 or higher.
  • 97% or more of your feedback is positive.
  • Your eBay account is in good standing.

you have qualified or are already qualified as a trading assistant you can embark on a really good adventure of selling on eBay for others.

I tell you this is such a great way of earning money without risking your own in fact I would go as far as to say that its like obtaining free stock I began selling for family and friends I now sell on behalf of 7 different companies and its now my full-time business along side my eBay coaching business.

So start with family and friends spread the word let them know that you are an eBay trading assistant and that for a cut of the proceeds you will sell the goods for them.

Commissions vary we charge anything from 35% – 50% depending on volume and whether its a  private or business customer, remember though eBay and paypal fees are to be deducted in all you should be making a net profit of around 20 -30%.

You dont need a shop of storage space call round to their place take pictures agree on a description and shipping policy and hey presto make the sale collect the money from your buyer keep your cut pass on balance to your client ship the goods job done.

No stock no risk no problem.

I run trading assistant workshops as well as complete eBay business set ups more information is available on my website http://www.learn2sellonline.co.uk/trading_assistants.htm

car boot success

bbcNow I am in no way a genius when it comes to buying and selling collectables on ebay far from it in fact I know absolutely nothing about antiques or collectables but what I do know is this I am really good at researching on ebay and decided to put this knowledge to the test.

The result was nothing short of amazing my focus this week was on porcelain figurines I purchased two for £8.00 at a local boot sale and having already done my research knew exactly what to look for I sold one for £100.00 the other still has 2 days to run and has a bid of £42.00.

This proves my point that if you are prepared to work hard do research extensively apply a bit of common sense and discipline you can easy make £200-£300 per week as a regular part time income.

There are buyers of all sorts of categories all over the world looking for items to buy and by using the many research tools available on ebay you can locate inventory that could make you a decent living on ebay

Car boot gold mine

bbcCar boot sales you never know what you can get

I once read an article that a student went along to a boot sale purchased a plate of some sort for 90p and sold it at a public auction for a whopping £14,500 thank you very much student fees covered

The point I’m trying to make here is this, there are numerous car boots around and whilst making a killing like our student friend may elude us we can find many different items to sell on ebay and cheap, cheap enough to turn a profit.

I purchased 2 rugs for a tenner a couple of weeks back from a local boot sale and sold them on ebay for £92.00  the pair a whopping £82.00 profit

I love the car boots and all the traders know me now its fun and I say once you get into the swing of things you can make a net profit of £200-300 per week easy and not hard to do.

And the best part is on ebay there are clients just waiting for your items and when you buy from boot sales you are only risking a few pounds as opposed to thousands of pounds.

So apart from a few quid you have nothing to lose go give it a try you never know what you might achieved

Until the next post may the force be with you all and remember ebay ebay ebay and of course ebay
